Today was doctor day. It was a great day in my life. How often can you say that after seeing a doctor? My worries have diminished quite a bit, though, so I am happy once more (although another really happy day will occur once I find those f'n tax returns).

I have PCOS (polycystic ovarian syndrome). While this does pose an obstacle to pregnancy, with the blood values I came back with, along with the ultrasound and endometrial biopsy, my doctor thinks it should be pretty straightforward to take some oral (not injectable - I already told Scott that option is OUT) medication that causes me to ovulate (sorry, I should have warned those of you who don't like reading women issues to wait and come back tomorrow) and then I can get preggers! For now, though, I MUST get blood pressure regulated and continue weight loss and good health regimen. That means I should start exercising. If you had asked me yesterday if I was going to start doing any exercise, I would have said a hearty "No." Today, however, that changes to a yes. Tonight, we're having pizza or something that I won't eat for the next several months (as it is a red warning food for me) and then I will go on the extreme WW mode tomorrow.

That means, no more cheatin' a little here and there cuz I can get away with it. It also means walking and possibly some weights in future (I love doing weight lifting, by the way, but without aerobic exercise mixed in, I believe it can contribute to elevated blood pressure as well). I have heard being in good shape makes pregnancy easier anyway, so that's another benefit. I keep telling myself these things because I hate making time to exercise when I can lay around on my fat petootie eating bon-bons all day, reading a good book with my lazy cats!!

Well, I'm off. I just had to update while all this is fresh and good (nice grammar, huh?).

Until later.
