Oh, the joy of not having to go to work today. I am really close to burnout at the moment, and every day off is a sheer pleasure. I get Wednesdays off, with the payoff of having to work every other Saturday. Yeah, I know it sounds cushy, but I still crank out my forty hours on a regular basis. Especially when my last appointment of the day shows up at 1 minute after we have locked the doors. Especially when I have to write all records before I can go home (I know you're weeping for my little Cinderella buttcheeks!!).

I forgot a funny moment at the wedding until Scott reminded me. Actually, it happened to him. He went to the bathroom (no, that's not the funny part) and there were a bunch of little boys in there. He went into the stall and another guy was at the urinal. When Scott came out, there were two little boys at the urinal and one of them was just naked from the waist down. As I was told, "His pants weren't down around his ankles, they were just GONE". He was standing on tip-toe trying to go to the bathroom, and constantly getting distracted by his little friend because they both had party horns and were blowing them in each other's ears, followed by the question, "Was that loud?". Maybe a few minutes ago. As my husband hightailed it out of there, he heard one of them say, "You're peeing on your pants." Oh, little boys. Do I really want one?

I am failing miserably at WW the last three weeks. Failing to plan is planning to fail. Today is a rejuvenation day. I am going to the meeting, afraid of that damn scale. I am going to treat it like a new day, though, the first day you go. Then I must motivate myself again to make menus and shop properly. Last night was the final straw. Since there was little to eat chez moi, I stopped at the store on the way home from work. Hungry. Mistake. Scott and I polished off the bag of dill pickle chips and now the guilt has set in. So, back on track today (and no, the chips were just the icing on the cake that has been consumed over the last few weeks!!).

That's about all I have today. Pretty boring life at the moment. Tonight I get treated to a lovely dinner, courtesy of Pfizer (I know them as the rimadyl people, I think you know them better as the viagra people). Tomorrow will be another day at the old grindstone and Friday I think we're going to a softball game in the evening, followed by drinks and snacks with my coworker, Dr. S (she is so cool). That will be my week.

Until later.
